They have a new and bigger location! We visited them on Monday and my children had an amazing time. We loved the identification charts they have for the rocks. There is over 150 different types of rocks there! I recommend visiting them this summer!

There are some good restaurants on here…Cafe Campagne gets my pick because…you get to walk to and from and around the market – what a treat on mothers day.

I can see why this area appreciated. We have four mild seasons, great outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, boating, beautiful scenery of mountains and an abundance of trees. Our official title “The Evergreen State” fits well.

I too love to take my out of town visitors to Pike Place. I think it and the Space Needle are the two places that are distinctly Seattle. I also love to watch the fish mongers throw their fish. It never gets old.
